Happy Friday!!!!

Yippee!!! The day has arrived at last....BUT as we speak I am sitting here with cardmakers block! How could this happen to me! I can't believe it! My mojo is gone..... All that paper at my fingertips and all this free time on my hands! One could almost weep with frustration. I believe I shall post first....drop Joe off with my friend and then....have some vino. By then Tonic will be on and there'll be some smoooooth jazz flowing into the studio and then perhaps the creative juices will cooperate and flow too. This is ridiculous!! (For those unfamiliar with Tonic.... it is a jazz show heard nightly on CBC from 6 til 8, I highly recommend it...lately thought they have been playing a bit more soul music than I like. I prefer jazz and latin jazz, in particular Brazilian.....and not the waxing kind either....ouch!)

Everything at church is clean as a whistle. The pole in the back of the parking lot is no longer listing. There was a boom truck on the job when I cycled up at 8pm...I figure that if I expected Bell to be prompt then I should be too! It is just a joy to behold all things restored to proper order.

In the wee hourse of the morning, waaaay before 8 o'clock, Ray left for the North. At 4:30 it was thundering and lightning and raining....and I could hear that Ray was awake, which is really funny because the original plan was to leave at 5am but Ray said..."oh I'll be way to cranky if I have to get up at that time". How ironic is that!

Anyway...I must go and rustle up some inspiration. We'll see what unfolds....oh that's a bad pun! I do believe that chocolate would help tonight. Hmmmmm. What a delightful idea!

Marten's home tonight. It rained all day. We just reread all your blogs so he could get caught up with your happenings. We laughed.

Marten says "Hi! Interesting blogs. What a cool way to keep in touch. Look forward to reading some more sometime. Blog on."

By now, surely, you have been inspired to make wonderful cards. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and enjoy the chips and chocolate.

Love, Karen

I agree, a little inspirational tonic might help. If it does not work, at least you won't care.
No matter what you end up doing, make sure you enjoy and do not feel like you wasted your "RETREAT".
