And coffee in a favourite mug. Each time I drink from this mug I think about a fly-in canoe trip that I went on last summer.
I ALWAYS listen to music at work. I think if I was going to be stranded on a planet on the outer edges of our known universe, that I would bring this Phillips, Craig & Dean CD! Favourite track? Be The Praise of My Heart...
The praise of my heart
The worship I bring
The life that I live
Is the song that I sing
Let it be real
Each note that I play
Every moment of every day...
Be the praise of my heart
Our last stop was the library and Little B and I were looking for a book or three to take home. I loved reading Dr Suess to the boys. I forgot how much fun we had reading the silly nonsense over and over and over again. Just seeing the title brought back good times I hadn't thought of in a long time. It reminded me that doing WITL will help me remember today's stories...just by documenting them.
Garlic and basil shrimp and new potatoes. I grow a few herbs in pots and love cooking with them. And if you can grow an African violet then you can grow herbs :)
End of the day. This is the view from my seat at the kitchen table. I can see my gardens and the pots on my deck. Strategically placed for my maximum enjoyment!! The little things you might not otherwise notice. Joe's glove is still on the ledge and there is a cup of dogfood beside it. He was playing catch with Little B and they have to bribe Blixie, the other wise slumbering Springer Spaniel, with kibble to give up the ball. The patch on the door is courtesy of the pup too...but she has now figured out how to open it with her nose. She just....forgets to close it. The grass is blonde. In the spring it is green but after three weeks without rain growing on pure sand....it dries up. When we walk on it...it just breaks off. In the spring we cut it three times in one week and now we cut it one time in three weeks.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring....:) First thing? Orthodontist appointments. No aquarium.

You have a busy life, that's for sure. But you can tell that you enjoy every moment. I like the way you strategically places everything. Max joy is a must!
Wow, you have quite the garden! I like it! :)
I can't say I've ever head that song but I'm sure it's awesome, my 2 favorite songs are by Tenth Avenue North, Healing Begins + All the Pretty Things.
How is it that you have such a wonderful selection of mugs?
I love the one from Mondays post and the one from this post. :)
Although I am not particularly fond of seafood, those shrimp and potatoes looks quite extraordinarily good. Love ya!

Great photos. I love the picture of the fish!
Hi Maris!! I Love "All the Pretty Things" too. I think it's one of my favourites!! I love buying mugs or earrings for souvenirs because I use them a lot, lose them a lot, and break them a lot. I never get too many :)
I really like your pictures, thanks for sharing. I think I need to snap one of the books on my nightstand tomorrow!
You have a great view from your seat at the kitchen table. Again, love the books...my favorite Dr. Suess book 'Put me in the Zoo'.
Looking forward to see what tomorrow brings.
