Monday

A first attempt Week In The Life begins.... I took 38 photos of various pieces of the day.  Of moments.  Of feelings.  Of  routine and ordinary things.

I finished downloading photos of our holiday and spent a lot of time still in Killarney in my mind while folding the camping laundry.  The 3 parts of a holiday: anticipating, participating, and remembering.  Nice.

Each day starts with coffee in a favourite mug.  Tune in next week to read the story behind the mug!  (and my favourite table cloth :)

And then the day took over, as it often does.
I loved the journaling sheets to help keep track of the day.   I used to do that for my daycare families. I love to write!!  Thanks Ali for the PDF's!!!!

I absolutely love that mug! All my mugs have some kind of story and a ton of personality -- my Betty Boop one was a quirky gift from my aunt, the black-and-white one I handpainted, the soup mugs were my parents' from early marriage, and so on and forth!

I've been wanting to do this for years ... and never seem to get around to it. Maybe I'll try for next week :)

Great first day pics of WITL! The books on the chair is my favorite, and of course, the 'dog' days of summer.

What a great idea!
I absolutely LOVE pictures and you take such awesome ones. I love all the little stories behind all of them. You make the 'ordinary' so extraordinary through your writing and your love of life.
Can't wait to see more!
(Now... if I can only remember to check blogs more often. Sigh.)
