Today there is no school for anyone in the family. There was much jumping for joy and planning for the day went into overdrive. Not a soul here upon my return from Little Lambs....
Yes...a real Southwestern Ontario phenomenon....no school due to heavy fog.
I sense there will be some paper crafting in my afternoon.
Joe came home yesterday and I immediately apologized for not remembering his class' chapel. He said, "Oh that's okay Mom, I didn't want you to see me in that dorky costume anyway. They changed my idea so much that it wasn't anything like it started out....." Hot chocolate was ready and waiting on the table ...all was quickly forgiven and forgotten.
We'll have to see what the rest of the day and evening brings. The church has one flooded room due the thunderstorm and heavy rain through the night. And....tonight....has freezing rain and snow in the forecast. What an interesting mixture that could turn out to be....we'll keep you posted if we keep our hydro....maybe it will be my turn to post pictures....maybe not!

haha... You can always post pictures, you dont even have to have a storm. hope that you had a good afternoon doing paperwork.. now it sounds like work.

We don't have fog like that here. Remember, when we went on vacation to Germany in the fall of 1978? When mom had to drive behind Omke Marten? That was foggy, I think mom's knuckels were white from gripping the steering wheel.
Anyway, it is snowing quite heavily here right now. Maybe no school again tomorrow.

I'm glad that all is forgiven. I don't think Nicolle would have been so easily soothed. Perhaps it's a girl thing.
I don't remember seeing fog so thick you couldn't drive or go to school. That would be interesting and eerie.
