On the TurnTable Today

I got to spend the afternoon at home doing some baking.

I'm really excited that I get to go to school tomorrow and visit a classroom. This is one of the perks of being a board member....others might rate it as a duty...but how else would I get to go and see what happens at school? Definitely a PERK!

I'm baking and bringing a cake, the first one....failed, the second one....success. Let's see how many people read this and laugh when I come in tomorrow:):)

When you bake, you need tunes. So today......

1. Switchfoot - the Beautiful Letdown. Favourite tracks-The Beautiful Letdown (one my alltime favourite songs in the world!), On Fire(really cool song, even has a verse about the edge:), and Twenty-Four.
   
2. Addison Road - Addison Road. Debut album, I think... Faves-What Do I Know of Holy(goosebumps...), It Just Takes One(I have a son who feels this way...I think that's good...he's at the stage where he wouldn't like this song simply because I suggested it :) I will premeditate randomly playing it in the car when he gets in...
3. Selah - You Deliver Me. My new Selah cd!! Faves- Hosanna, Standing on the Promises, Glory to His Name....lottsa Southern Gospel.
   
4. Switchfoot - Hello Hurricane. It's new too. It still has to grow on me, you know that stage.
   
5. tenth avenue north - Over and Underneath. The whole album is really good, you should buy it!! Faves- Hold My Heart,Beloved, and another alltime favourite....By Your Side.
   

One son seems to playing the same song over and over and over again. Other son said today, "I think this is going to do me in...."
