Springing with a Vengeance

We have a great and mild winter.  I suppose it quite Canadian of me to mourn the lack of snow.   I don't know if there are many cultures that celebrate snow the way we do.  I can't explain the "snow-bird" phenomenon...

My crocuses were blooming at the end of February.   They finished much too soon in my opinion, but heat will do that :)   I have been enjoying all the other little friends who come along with the longer days and the heat.
Time flies and soon it will be summer.

As much as I'm loving this lovely unseasonable warmth, and the sunburn that I already have, I'm just a tiny bit concerned that we're going to have to "pay for it" somehow - like having a killing frost in June, or snow in May.....

Beautiful!
I saw my first flower in my garden this weekend. A daffodil.
We're a little slower than you in Ontario.
